Such an old post. In a way I'm very relieved that my dear friend, Paul, is mostly resting in inner world in what he says is the black void. He feels safe and is healing. It appears these days there's an army of alters fronting cocon. Although it seems I'm the one who's usually most focused or closest in the front, if that makes sense. Sometimes Paul, who's often little Paul (I like call him Paulie these days) will be somewhat in the front cocon. I hear that sometimes he's fully in front.

For anyone who's new to hosting, I've found that being detached helps. And a lot of naps. It's so stressful and tiring. Especially with Paul and Sam changing so much lately trying to end the body. If you become attached and let the emotions swell up then you're going to get drained and burnt out. Your system needs you! You're their rock.
