I had two inside my cottage just this past week!

I guess they got in while I was coming in.

I'm slow and have to prop the door open while entering with the walker.

Got them out alright but it scares the crap outta me because I can't run away from them anymore.

I opened my door today and one was sitting right there on the pedestal by the door.

I smashed that sucker flat with the tip of my cane!

I dedicate that one small victory to you @lizardlady ...
