I have always wondered about that, the initial trauma psychiatrist I had, this was his specialty. He never seemed to be too concerned about it, as I was highly functional. Perhaps their thinking that getting the anxiety, depression, and nightmares under control would somehow alleviate it maybe? It has gotten better as time has gone on, so that is a relief. It could be they now have me so drugged up that the mechanisms that cause it just can't work. They tried ketamine therapy, which I don't remember a bit of it, hard to say if it helped or not?
