@CANDC thanks for the suggestions. I also find that high-carb foods make it worse. I’m very skeptical of multivitamins and supplements. I know a bit about them as I am a pharmacy technician, and frankly, people either overdo it with them or the amount of actual active ingredient isn’t enough to justify the cost of the whole bottle. Agreed that checking TSH levels is not always the whole answer to the problem; seeing an endocrinologist requires a referral if i want my insurance to pay for it, so that is an option to pursue down the road. My doc called me with the results today— i am still prediabetic (Been that way for years) and my triglyceride levels need improvement. Yay.
