Yeah i was throwing a fit the morning of my procedure. The anesthesiologist wanted to cancel me, but my surgeon overrode her. I was like, do i have to get married to have this procedure?! I was spitting and sarcastic in full feminist curmudgeon mode! There was no warning, except that i could not have an uber, so i did schedule the senior helper a day ahead, but even then it was last minute (and therefore iffy and stressful). They came out to the waiting room (to harass me) like 3 times. I was obviously there alone. Its like they cant even imagine a person alone. Sorry but i cant imagine myself any other way.
