Text from Fuzzybear's recent images:
Without access to your feelings, it's hard
to know who you want, who you don't
want, who's good for you, who's bad for
you, and who you should avoid.
While you were growing up, if your parents
or caregivers did not pay attention to or
respond to your feelings enough, or treated
your feelings as a burden, unimportant, or
invisible, you may have learned that your
emotions were a burden or a problem. You
may have walled off your feelings.
Your feelings are your best source of
information about what you want and
need, what's good for you, what's bad for
you, and what you should avoid. Thus,
growing up with Childhood Emotional
Neglect may make it confusing
to choose a partner.
