If the medication is making you ill everytime you take it, talk to that medication dispensing doctor and see if you can find an alternative drug therapy. Generally Lamictal is not hard on too many people but everyone is different in their reactions to medications. Unless your health care provider has told you it is okay, I would avoid changing or stopping/starting a medication before discussing it with your healthcare professional. The goal is medication to help you, not to make you sick. I don't know what you are using it for? Mood Stabilizer? Anti Seizure...etc.....etc. Titrating it up more slowly may help, but maybe call the M. D.'s nurse and ask or paige them, even make an appointment to see them, if it doesn't take too long. Having practiced a long time we don't mind getting paiged, that his part of what we get paid for. If they do, who cares, it's their job. Good luck.
