I hear you, I tend to be sensitvie too... CBT therapy can help with that.

"Feeling Good" by David Burns (CBT)
"Born to Win" by Muriel James and Dorothy Jongward (Gestalt and transactional analysis)
"How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie
If you can't get these books from you library, you can always order secondhand copies, may I suggest
