I even have a very old but functional mini ipod that can be submerged in water and I plan to swim with it come summer.
So audio is a big part of motivation for me. Would something like this work for you?

Thanks. Music used to work for me, especially running but it seems to no longer motivate me in the same way (I do sometimes listen when I’m walking though). Audiobooks are great and podcasts but for some reason I could never concentrate on them while exercising, I’m in awe that you can do that!
