If you're wearing a mask for its skin-helping properties and not as a caricature, then you're fine.

Also, I assume you're doing this in the privacy of your home or in a skin-care salon where such things are commonly applied.

People sometimes look for outrage where none actually exists (except online in social media, which you should always take anything coming from it with a healthy grain of salt).
