I am a 20 year old sophomore in college and want to get tested for ADD or ADHD. I have had a suspicion for a few years now and my mother has been saying I have ADD since I was just a little kid. My father has been very against this and will refuse to accept that his son might have ADD. I am a little embarrased about this and that may be the reason. I am also embarrased to bring this up to my physician whom I have had for as long as I can remember and who thinks I have absolutely no trouble with my schoolwork and everyday life. I'm not sure where to go to get help or get tested and was wondering if anybody could maybe give me some advice. I am an Electrical Engineering major and am surprised I have successfuly made it this far, although I can tell you it has been a very difficult and stressful past two years. I am just hoping to get the help I need as soon as possible and look into something that should have been checked a very long time ago. <font color="green"> </font> Thank you. Colin.
