Liz, yes I really think the cold why she started up with the howling again. Today was quiet too, she spent most of the day curled up in a ball in her bed again. She'll turn 17 later this year, so I figure she's in her right to sleep all day if she wants too. I guess we'll see what happens with the howling once the temperatures start warming up again.
