I have seen the phenomena discussed as the most fantastic to look at. Just consider how nature has taken something that would definitely ruin our day and make it so beautiful. That is solar radiation of several differing varieties. We are protected because below our feet, a peace is a fast-spinning ball of hot liquid magma. Much, like an electric motor, generates a powerful electromagnetic field that protects us from it and puts on a spectacular display. It is truly beautiful, even knowing what it is, our world is an amazing place at times.
