If you want job with benefits, you need to only accept full time job with benefits. I don’t recommend taking on part time job with hopes for more hours and benefits. It’s typically too unstable.
I understand that. Like I said, I was definitely promised f/t hours by the main manager there who makes the schedules.

He should’ve never said tyat if he couldn’t give me any f/t hours. A coworker said to apply for other companies that will probably give me more hours.

He knew that I needed benefits. So to go from 32 hours to 16 is shocking. I had 32 hours for a month each week.

A coworker yesterday thinks my hours might’ve been cut since I requested 3 days off this month. I got the days off. I couldn’t get out of a prior commitment that I agreed to before I got this job.

Hopefully they don’t think that I’m unreliable now. I was always on time, never had any complaints tgat I’m aware of from anyone, etc…

I like this job for the most part as it’s easy & almost stress free, so I’ll keep it.

Most companies (especially for service type jobs) won’t hire f/t employees let alone offer any benefits aside from an insulting 10-15% off employee discount at most places.
