Drat, I lost the post I wrote.

It's easy to temporarily remove blinds if you know the way the bracket works.

I've attached two images of Bali brackets. The idea is that the front of the blind's top bar hangs onto the front of the bracket. Then the bar is "tipped in" to lock in the back of the bar.

To release, push the back part of the bracket against the wall and then reverse the "tipping" motion.
