There are lots of causes of high calcium, many much more likely than cancer, such as parathyroid issues, taking too much calcium supplements, or even some others (maybe vitamin A or D?), medications like blood pressure drugs & lithium, dehydration. I know it's easy to say but try not to stress over it until your doctor has run all the tests he wants and has diagnosed what is most likely causing your levels to be high.
