I love the idea of a journal section, love it

My only concern would be that because it's an open forum, anyone could respond to said journal (with nice comments or otherwise), or even take over the thread if they wanted to.
We could, I suppose, have the forum password protected. then, each person has.. how to explain this, their own copy of the journal forum with just their thread in it
