If you are on 50mg of Pristiq, and you need more antidepressant boost, your pdoc probably won't add more Pristiq. Increasing the dose has not been found to increase the efficacy. It's more likely that he/she will add something else - maybe Wellbutrin since it's supposed to have the least sexual side effects.
