I don't think I've heard my T refer to me as anything but I think if she were to, she'd say "patient" given her psychoanalytic background. I seem to be in the minority but I actually prefer the term "patient" as it implies a level of care is being provided to me. "Client" sounds like a business relationship and therapy is so much more than that.
