So you can only take $9,500 out a year out in federal student loans. So you have to look for a school under $15k a year. Look for a career you can do with some symptoms. So you can get them under control while still working. You can use youscience to find a career. The rule on college boards are do not take out more than the entry level yearly income. My feeling is only taking federal loans because they have income based payment options, for now.

I'm taking classes before I go to university that will transfer in to save money and to see if I'm able to commit longer term. This costs me $50-100/month.

You need to look at how much you would need a year to support yourself and your needs. For me and my husband it's 73k a year.

This will allow a mortgage of an accessable place, a private PCA and all our meds and appointments with insurance.
