If it's any consolation, I've been in an LDR for roughly 2 and a half years (though there was a period of time where we werent even speaking for a few months). We still have a year to go before we can even think about moving in together. The best advice I have for you is to relax, dont try to control the relationship. Take each day as it comes, and try not to stress about the future too much. If things are meant to be, then somehow, things will work out. I also find little things throughout the day really help, like my boyfriend will send me a text every few days just to tell me he misses me and loves me. That really makes my day, especially since we're so far apart and texting is like $1.50 per a message. Try to talk everyday, but if you can't dont worry about it. Dont get obsessive, if you can. (Been there, done that, nearly lost him, whole nine yards...) I guess that's all I can think of for right now, but if you want to PM me, feel free. LDR's are hard, I know, but they DO work, regardless of those who say they dont (No offense to anyone who thinks that!)
Best of luck, and congratulations!
