She thinks everything stems from trauma and can be cured by therapy. Even psychosis. In fact she thinks psychosis is your own thoughts and that you actually want to do what the voices are telling you to because you are angry. She said my aunt had been molested by her father when I told her she has anorexia and bullemia. She says I am traumatized but there isn’t ska specific instance of abuse that I told her. Just having an alcoholic dad my whole life is trauma yes but she was saying everything was trauma and there were no good parts to my life. Yeah. I need a new therapist. This one doesn’t believe in psych meds and even cut me short when I started to tell her how I hadn’t slept much the night before.
