My parents can not and will not provide an ADU. No space, I can't go outside in winters there, and no services available. Plus they pay both my sisters bills as they can only work part-time min wage which is $12 there. They are also retired and have huge debts. They are willing to put a down payment on a mobility condo for us. I'm the successful one in my family.

They feel I should go for it. If I don't work it's okay their even willing to pay the $75 a month if I can't for the classes. If I get a useless degree that's okay too but at least I'm moving forward.

If I can get myself situated with everything I need with a surplus after paying the condo down I can help our family out of there situation. Letting my parents rest easy. It'll take me about 10 years to get there before helping but at least my sister's won't be homeless after my parents pass. Currently their 75.
