Thank you for teaching me a new word. Trousseau, I never knew it. I knew dowry and now have it figure out the difference. maybe dowry is money and trousseau is linen, clothes, bedding?

My grandmother's tea towel is just plain linen. White with light and dark pink stripes. No embroidery! Or else i would not use it, either.
