Had a guest speaker here last week. Went to meet her at her hotel her last night here for a farewell drink and dinner. Walk up. Police all over. Cr8me scene tape and tent. Rooftop bar where we were to meet was closed. Someone had jumped from there about an hour before. Sounded like it was a student.

What really got me was that with the rooftop bar closed, the hotel was serving drinks and dinner in the restaurant area, which looked right out onto the crime scene tent. *And people were sitting there drinking and chatting.* (We went elsewhere.)
