No it’s not. It’s used to describe a PTSD reaction, which is very legit and real. I have PTSD which is often triggered by my ex abuser living only 3 streets away from me. Him spying on me and watching my home, which I know he’s doing, triggers a PTSD reaction. I physically shake when I have such a reaction. Triggered is simply an adjective I use to describe my PTSD.
