I do not have it but I went through unanesthesized dental care as a child and then a teen growing up in the Soviet Union. I feel incredibly lucky to have anesthesia and my dentist is really good at administering it: even the injection itself of the anesthetic is barely perceptible. She is very skilled. So I just sit there basking in feeling grateful. I do not like the feeling of pain when after procedures the anesthesia wears off but I now take extra strength Tylenol for it with thr dentist's blessing She told me I should not suffer.
On BritBox, there is that entire Poirot series with David Suchet and there is that movie where Poirot has to go to a dentist and Suchet does a marvelous job portraying Poirot's fear and then suffering. I wish I remembered the movie title. Maybe watch it before going in to then feel grateful that you did not live 100 years ago and can enjoy the marvels of modern dentistry?
Oh, and then twice I had implants done by another doctor who specialized in them, and she, too, gave essentially painless anesthetic injections, she prescribed Vycodin for thr aftercare. It was very effective and I only needed to take it a couple of times.
