I’ve read that writing things down that you are worried or angry about is a great help. I guess venting is just a form of this? Does it work @Cantholdmyrage? Do you feel better?

Honestly I’m really tired of hearing the same s*** going how we just have a victim mentality and being lazy. Will this ever stop?
I think it may be a long time before it goes away, if ever. I skip by this type of antagonistic accusation now. I just don’t have the energy to get worked up by it. It’s ignorance, pure and simple.

I also limit my social media interaction. I stopped reading Twitter and Instagram a few months ago, and I feel so much better for it. I dip in and out of Facebook, but it’s mostly a den of shallowness and iniquity that I deactivate for periods of time. When I do post on there I try to make it positive, and it’s mostly just a photo I’ve taken from when I’m out walking or cycling - trying to share some happiness.
