I did quite a bit of dream work with long term ex-T. Anytime I brought in a dream that had her in it, she would always say "that wasn't me, that was a facet of you" or something along those lines. So I finally started saying "dream-you" instead of "you" when telling her the dream.

In retrospect she was a mess and I stayed waaaaay too long but that's another story
