But more progress was made! L and I had a session with H last night. It went really well. Both got along and even felt like they were on the same page now. I think this session was overdue. It made me feel really supported having both together. We all agreed my meds need to change and I need a new pdoc. L says she is trying her best to help me before her leave.
I also saw a neurologist today. She agrees that my memory problems are not normal at my age. She wants to do a PET scan. She actually got to see my memory falter. I forgot the word "Lithium". And she saw my hand tremors. But she does think the main cause is psychological stress.

Hugs, Scarlet. I can see why IOP is the wrong choice for you right now.
Glad your session with L and H went well!
And I hope they find answers and a solution for your neurological issues. Maybe I've asked this before, but are you on any meds that are mainly classified as seizure meds (many are used for other things), like Topamax? I know that one in particular can cause cognitive issues, including memory problems. I looked into it at one point for treating migraines, but declined it because I can't do my job with major memory/brain fog issues. I think similar meds can do the same. Or else some other medication you're on or a combination of them?
And you've been checked for B12 levels, right? Low levels of that can cause cognitive issues, too. And I think maybe tremors. Low magnesium can definitely cause tremors. Checking for both can be done through Labcorp or Quest or whatever lab your insurance uses, so could be worth checking if you haven't.
