Pepper it is. I am having a hard time getting used to it, but today was better.
It feels so natural having a dog around. I hadn't even realized I'd been missing it. And she is a dream of a pup so far. Responsive, sweet, smart, easy to correct or redirect, crates easily, walks nicely on a leash, good with the cats. We're still in the honeymoon phase, I know, but she's just lovely.
It was hilarious when the dancer one came home from far away. She greeted him like family, probably because he looks and sounds a lot like the other tall folk, then realized she didn't know him...but he was familiar...but a stranger...but... She was so confused. Heh.
