I can’t tell you about the med interaction unfortunately as it’s the only med I’m currently on but I have been on a prescribed a daily preventative beta blocker (propranolol) at 80mg it has made a huge difference to the number and severity of migraines I’ve had. It has had side effects however, which I’m living with, it lowered both my heart rate and bp which were low normal to begin with so I’ve had a couple of wobbly moments. The other thing is weird dreams unfortunately and my sleep isn’t great because of that.

I take a triptan if I get a migraine (imitrex) that usually works well for me. The only side effect I’ve had from that is a weird over sensitivity in my skin - like water touching me feels painful. There’s a word for it but I can’t remember! Anyhow it normally only last half a day to a day or so after taking imitrex.
