This is an interesting thread. I suffer from bad headaches, some of which I class as migraines and some that I suspect are caused by musculoskeletal issues with my neck. I’ve suffered from migraines my whole life.

Interestingly, @Discombobulated, I’ve been on beta-blockers at various stages, for both high blood pressure and anxiety. They worked perfectly for me first time (Atenolol). I came off them as my blood pressure dipped very low after a couple of years on them, and then I never had any further issues. I went back on them in 2017 to help reduce anxiety and heart palpitations (propranolol this time), and they worked well. I can’t remember if they solved my headache issues though. However, I had to come off them as a week-long ECG trace found I have an asymptomatic second degree heart block type 1 (heart beats slow, especially overnight). I was prescribed them again recently, but only in a very low dose (10mg), in case they slow my heart too much. However, I hate taking meds, and I’m nervous with having the heart block. I wish I could take them safely.

I wish I could find something to stop the headaches though, as they are debilitating at times, so I appreciate your predicament @Mountaindewed.
