Rest days are good for you to rest your muscles & recuperate. I have trouble taking them, but I have noticed the next day, I feel exercise is a lot easier. Stretching is wonderful for the body; I really need to do more of it, especially for my lower back and neck.

This morning, the temperature was in the mid-40s, so I finally got to power walk again I took a very long power walk, 7 mi, and the last 0.5 mi was hard, but there was nothing to do for it but keep going until I made it home. I could have slowed down, but I get stubborn and want to just keep going. I started when it was dark this morning; the full moon was out, very bright, just brilliant. For some reason, I really love walking in the dark. Part of it is I'm sensitive to sunlight; first, due to having blue eyes, second, due to some of my meds. I also like to get an early start exercising as I start my day.
