I had a 13 year old kitty who suddenly got very ill. Took her to the vet and he could feel tumors in her stomach so she had to be put down. He said there was nothing he could do for her. I was in shock because 13 years old isn't that old, I feel, for a cat. The ones I had before lived until they were 18 or over. Nothing I did caused the cancer and there was nothing else I could do for her.

Nobody blamed me and I didn't blame myself. Life happens even though it hurts us.
