You’re just that age! That's what the doctor told me about my shoulders hurting since my fall six weeks ago! It's arthritis and apparently that’s normal for 52? My shoulders have felt like I've been doing pushups and lifting weights since I fell. So she said to use heat and ice and do exercises for two weeks and then we'll see about physical therapy after if that doesn't help. I think six weeks of pain deserves PT! I've been using Voltaren gel on my shoulders and Roboxin sparingly as a muscle relaxer. But I suppose first I have to get through PT for my back. That starts the day after tomorrow. I am getting an uber to all six of my PT appointments and to my allergist appointment Thursday in 45 minutes away! We're just going to talk so I'm going to make sure my ride doesn't take off too far because I don't want to be waiting for hours!

Hopefully it won't snow this weekend so Caleb and I can go to the Oasis hot tub place and out to Carraba's to eat. Twice now it's snowed on the weekend here and/or there and he's cancelled. This weekend's forecast is 30 with no snow so that's promising. We're also going to watch Gabriel Iglesias' new comedy special on Netflix. (Don't tell him but I watched it already!). Speaking of tv, Henry Danger The Movie came out 3 days ago on Paramount plus and Nickelodeon! I watched it as my friend has a Paramount plus account. It was fun to see all the characters grown up! Ella started at six or something on the show! Well of course I've seen Ella ("Piper") grown up in person- can it really have been seven months ago that we were in California?? My sister's house so far has been spared from the fires. They did evacuate last week to one of my sister’s husband’s boss' empty houses he owns in a nearby state. (I forget which one!). They're back home now.

So, I told FWB that he can't come over for a "visit" until my back is better after six weeks of therapy. Last time it hurt too much! The next day I had to wear a lidocaine patch on my lower back which I hadn't had to do for several weeks. It's just not worth the pain- either during or after.

I might take a nap now. Or if I'm not tired just lay next to the cat who is on my pillow!
