Saw my allergist today. Here’s part of what he wrote. I got bloodwork done that he requested today.

“Adverse food reaction, initial encounter
Angioedema, initial encounter
Unclear etiology she has had multiple reactions to multiple different foods and food products. She does report improved symptoms after stopping consuming blue dye. There does raise quesitons of HAE or possible MCAS but symptoms do not fit entirely. She would like to introduce fish. Had negative testing but is concerned regaring reintroduction.”

“-continue to avoid blue dye and vinegar
-will check tryptase and HAE labs
-discussed fish introduction, she would like to introduce but nor comfortable introducing at home
-will check serum values, if negative and not comfortable introducing at home would do observed feed with fish in clinic.”
