Everyone has their own way of coping with life. Some find strength in faith, some in memories, and some in the inner voices that guide them through hardships. For some, these voices are past versions of themselves, fragments that never moved on. For others, they are something greater—something that arrives to help in the darkest times.

Stories of walk-ins, tulpas, alters, or spiritual guides all come down to one thing: the need for support. The search for stability when the ground beneath you disappears. Some experience it as a real presence, others as parts of their own mind trying to survive.

But in the end, what matters isn’t what you call it. What matters is that it helps.

Because if it gives you the strength to get out of bed, to fight for yourself, to keep moving forward—then isn’t that the most important thing?
