She cries at her desk and says she wants to shoot herself in a joking manner, I suppose . That is sort of on the back burner, though.

The immediate concern is that I've had some pretty severe diverticulitis and had to take time off from work. So far, I am feeling well.

I make $17 an hour at 37.5 hours per week, and I am paid bi-weekly. I now have to pay my own health insurance $177 per month. This is very inexpensive, I know. My rent is $835. My car insurance is $200. I just had to finance new tires, which are $90 a month. Basically, I am struggling to survive. I could use a second job but can not physically do so.

So, I'm trying to brainstorm and open my mind to new ideas and possibilities. Any and all advice you might have would be very helpful. Maybe there's an idea out there I just haven't thought of yet.

I'm in a similar boat as you, but without the diverticulitis. I have other physical ailments that make it hard to do much more than what I do now. I understand it's hard out there, especially on the East Coast! So expensive to live. It feels like all we're doing is existing to survive. I want to start living again! I live paycheck to paycheck, but look at the brighter side that I'm not homeless. I know things will progress down the road, just going through a rough time now. Stay positive and hope things get better for you!
