My dentist has referred me to see an endodontist for one tooth that has already a root canal. It cracked a tiny piece last month and I told my dentist about it. My dentist told me that there was a dark spot on my x-ray. I think the tooth cannot be saved but she wants me to see a specialist. There are only two in my city.

I get anticipatory anxiety every time I go to my dentist since I had a lot of work done this year. I have an appointment this Friday and I'm worried about the distance because it's 3 miles away and how it looks inside. I do not like to lie down on the dentist's chair. It will be for only an evaluation but I'm more worried about feeling anxious. I will call tomorrow because I have sent my X-ray and forms but I don't know if they have received it.

The second endodontics is located a few blocks from my house I have called them and they seem more prepared but it's a bit more expensive. It's located in a tall building on the second floor and I don't like heights. I have GAD and agoraphobia.
