I think it means having an abnormally high level of LDL cholesterol (the bad type of cholesterol), which is often genetic. Does high cholesterol run in your family? The heart CT I wonder about, like if it's necessary or just another test to put you through and bill on. Like I said, H has that type of cholesterol and never had a CT or anything, just got put on a statin and fish oil supplements. Of course, he was diagnosed 20 years ago. Maybe the protocol has changed now.
