At the ER for 3 hours now. Got here at 1. I had salmon at 8 and at 12:30 my lips were numb- they got that way right after I ate the fish and my tongue was swollen. At 12:30 I decided I wasn’t just dehydrated. I called the nurse at my primary’s office and eventually she told me all her protocols told her I need to go to the ER. It got rapidly worse. At the ER I got IV Benadryl which made me extremely loopy! Lots of blood tests. I had low potassium (from diarrhea I guess). They gave me a supplement . Well I was just told I am going home soon. I do feel better. Nothing is swollen anymore. I need to get a ride home somehow. They’re going to help me.
