I didn't realize that. Maybe I'll take half the dose a few days before going back up. The pdoc is out of the office on Fridays (well, not exactly true, that's when he hobnobs with the drug reps over lunch). He's got an emergency cell to call, but I'm not sure this qualifies as an emergency? I'll be on the lookout for any symptoms like rash, etc. after this dose I took this morning and will def. call his emergency cell if anything weird shows up. Though fingers crossed, with anticonvulsants, I generally don't have any issues (on oxycarbazepine as well).
When I totally stopped taking oxycarbazepine because I felt I didn't need it, the pdoc did just put me right back on the full dose (his opinion was I needed it).
