I received the news that my stay here is no longer depending on my marriage.
Then another that my citizenship interview got scheduled.
Meaning he won't have to be there on the citizenship interview.
Great news!
A brighter future is coming.

Virtually I could get a divorce today. But that will need a lot of planning.
I wish I could make him understand that this is a disfunctional "relationship" and there's absolutely no reason to continue.
I'd just walk away but he'd haunt me for the rest of my life.
