Yesterday was my first day to volunteer for this year preparing income taxes for low income people. It's something I've been doing every year since 2018 ane kind of weirdly I enjoy it. I'm part of a national program that Revenue Canada runs in conjunction with the main accounting body in Canada.

It went pretty well with the exception of a few minor glitches and some major problems with Revenue Canada's site, but I got through it.


And the clinic I volunteered with yesterday believes in taking card of their volunteers. one of the team leads brought in home made date squares and the clinic arranged a late lunch for us at the end of the day. It was tandoori chicken, rice and vegetables, which was a nice added bonus.
