Well, I have high bad cholesterol too, and I don't have a horrendous diet and I'm not overweight (and never have been overweight). It used to not be a problem until I had a stint on Zyprexa, since then, it's been high even after I switched back to Seroquel. Though then my PCP says she's not concerned, my good cholesterol is high enough it cancels out the bad cholesterol? So APs definitely do not help cholesterol any, that's for sure. My trigylcerides were high too, but the PCP said to take fish oil pills daily, and I do, and that brought the trigylcerides back down to normal.

MD: Did your doctor put you on a statin for the high cholesterol?
