One time I went to the PCP, just a standard checkup, the tech checked my BP with a wrist monitor and my BP was like 176 over something! The tech was like, "I HATE these wrist monitors! They're never accurate." She then took my BP with the old fashioned manual BP monitor: 120/80!

I have an arm cuff one. When it started getting high a couple months ago I thought it was the batteries so I put new ones in and its still high. I haven't checked it today.
