Looks like I will be wearing Solmates year round:
With spring here, I do not wear autumn boots (which I wear throughout the winter in NoCal) all the time and have switched to my new Hoka One Ones, part of the time. I have two new pairs of Hoka I bought last fall. They are the recent model. For several years prior, I had been wearing Hoka Bondi 7.
The weird thing, most of my older socks (before Solmates) ride down in these new Hoka pairs. The socks are low rise. Not completely no-show, but low. I used to wear them all the time and have a lot of them. Why a change in Hoka model would make such a difference, I have no idea. But it is uncomfortable to wear socks that ride down and for workouts, it is simply impossible.
Solmates, by contrast, work just fine and I do not feel hot in them. At least not yet.
I am glad I bought so many pairs, trying to go over the threshold for free shipping. Now I will use them!
