I'm not struggling too much with urges to SI today, but I'm still really depressed. And upset. I live in Section 8 housing (ie, governement subsidized housing) and they have the right to drop in and inspect our apartment whenever they please. First of all, just in principle that is really humiliating. Only the poor would be subjected to such denigration...

Anyway, I was in the shower when they came, so I didn't hear them. I was listening to music, so when I opened the door, I still couldn't hear them (seeing as though it's summer, it's hot and humid, and I had just taken a shower, I really needed some fresh air). Anyway, after doing that, while I was getting dressed, one of the government stoolies came up and saw me in the bathroom. It was so f-ing humiliating and embarrassing... Now I'm just more angry than anything...

I hate this country and the way it treats its lowest... (if they had a smiley flipping the bird, I'd use it right now...)
