I set most of my clocks on Saturday, most I don’t need to refer to. I have so many that it saves time when I set certain ones before bed. Years ago I did them all at once just before bed. But it takes almost 25 minutes.
I am now waking in the dark. I don’t care about extra daylight in the evening since I have nowhere to go. Since I’m a morning person I need the sunlight then. And now some kids may be waiting for the bus or walking to school in the effing dark. Eventually the morning will be lighter but it will take about another month at least.
If some states stayed on DST year round and others switched, it would be chaotic.

You wouldn’t know what time it is in other states. I didn’t know the Navajo in Arizona do observe it.
Also I don’t mind it staying light until after dinner as it’s less depressing. But around 6:30 or 7 I’m finished with the daylight. Throws my body clock off.
